I have been involved in an accident, what should I do?

Take photos at the accident scene, and be sure to swap names, addresses, license, and insurance details with any other involved parties.

  1. If you require assistance with towing your vehicle, please call 1300 799 351. Our staff are available 24/7 to help recover your vehicle.
  2. Call your insurance company to lodge a claim – If you are not already asked to come and see us then ask that the ‘Request’ be sent to Bendigo Accident Repair Centre. Upon receipt of this we can immediately activate the repair process.
  3. If your car is drivable, please call 1300 799 351 to make an appointment for a quote


Can I get a quote for repairs to my vehicle over the phone?

Unfortunately, no – we can however send you a text message with instructions to upload images to get the process started.

Do I need to make an appointment for a quote?

Yes. This will save time for us both.

Do I need to get several quotes?

Bendigo Accident Repair Centre is a recommended repairer for all major insurance companies. In most instances, you will only need one quote. If your insurance company would prefer that you go to a repairer in their network, simply advise that we are your first choice. Most insurance companies give you the choice however in recent times you may have to pay extra for this privilege.

Do I have to notify the insurance company before repairs are made?

How long will it take to repair my vehicle?

As soon as your quote is authorised after submission, we will be in touch to advise of time frame for repair. On average, most vehicles are repaired in 5 days. With major damage, timelines will vary.

Will my vehicle ever be the same again?

Yes. Bendigo Accident Repair Centre repair all vehicles back to OEM (original equipment manufacturer) specifications. Our trained technicians will return your vehicle back to their pre-accident condition. Quality assurance checks are also completed throughout the repair process to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

How do I pay for the repairs?

Bendigo Accident Repair Centre accepts EFTPOS and direct deposit. We accept all major credit cards excluding American Express and Diners Club. After Pay is also available.

Who do I pay my insurance excess to?

This depends who you are insured with and the circumstance of the incident. Your excess will either be paid to your insurance company or Bendigo Accident Repair Centre.

Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?

Yes. Along with the warranty provided by your insurance company, Bendigo Accident Repair Centre honours a three-year written warranty which is explained at hand over of the completed repair.
